Game Overview:
NOTE: Please play the tutorial for a more thorough explanation of the gameplay
In FTL you command a ship and her crew as it is being chased across the galaxy by the rebel fleet.
The galaxy map is divided into Sectors and in each Sector are a number of Beacons (nodes). You progress in this game by jumping from Beacon to Beacon, trying to get across the map to the the "Exit" which will let you jump to next Sector. Each time you Jump, the rebel fleet advances closer to your position, so get to the exit as soon as you can.
At each Beacon, you will encounter an event which ranges from shopping at a store, to finding something useful, or fighting another ship.
Get to the 8th, ‘final’ sector to defeat the Rebel Flagship and save the galaxy.
